InsuranceThe renter is responsible for maintaining liability insurance for the rental car. If the renter does not have personal auto insurance, Bascar offers insurance options for an additional fee.
Drivers License The renter must present a valid driver’s license at the time of rental. The license must be valid for the entire rental period.
Minimum Age Requirement The renter must be at least 21 years old to rent a car. For renters between the ages of 21-24, a daily surcharge may apply.
Payment A valid credit card or debit card is required to rent a car. The card must be in the renter's name and have sufficient funds to cover the rental charges as well as a security deposit.
Additional Drivers Additional drivers may be added to the rental agreement for a fee. All additional drivers must meet the same rental requirements as the primary driver.
Fuel Policy Bascar requires renters to return the rental car with the same amount of fuel as it had at the time of rental. If the car is returned with less fuel, a refueling fee will apply.
Mileage Policy Bascar offers unlimited mileage for most rentals. However, some specialty rentals may have mileage restrictions.
Vehicle Return The rental car must be returned to the designated Bascar location on or before the return date and time specified in the rental agreement. Late returns may be subject to additional fees.
Rental Extensions If the renter wishes to extend the rental period, they must contact Bascar in advance to arrange the extension. Additional rental fees will apply.
Rental Restrictions Bascar may restrict the rental of certain vehicles for certain purposes, such as off-road use, towing, or driving into certain geographic areas.
Rental Deposits Bascar may require a security deposit at the time of rental. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period if the car is returned undamaged and with a full tank of gas.
